Iria
Iria by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)

I just got this video from my favorite little anime/fantasy/comic book store (for $3 too. Nifty, eh? ^_~) and I was looking at the cover and I just started sketching a little pic of Iria. I've always thought she was one of the coolest looking anime characters ever created. I've getting back into drawing anime a lot more lately as opposed to drawing nothing but Invader Zim stuff, and for being one of my first anime drawings in quite a while I think this looks not-too shabby ^-^

:D I agree! Iria was one of the very first animes I ever really appreciated, and it was in part because of the great design in the series.

O_O This thing is FAR from ever being shabby! Man, I wish I could draw Anime THAT good!! sigh

Ya know, I have never seen Iria: Zeiram the Animation.... if it is as good as everyone says it is, perhaps I should check it out. My friend and I are almost finished with Jubei-Chan (Another great Anime!) and we will be looking for a new series.

Wonderful image! I'd recommend watching the live-action Zeram too. ^^ 'Twas spiffy. The eyes seem a tad close together, but that's just my personal opinion. :3 thumbs up for Taryn Art ^^
