Rocky Marshes
Rocky Marshes by @Crash (Charlie Stadele)

Before drawing this, I asked myself... "Can I draw a fight scene?" The answer is........Yes, but I shouldn't quit my day job.

Teela verses Tri-Klops in some marshes. Guess she's still mad at him for putting her in a coma early in season one. Both characters are identifiable, but not well rendered, and Trike's arms look horrible. The coloring on Teela is nice, though. (Mmmmh....Savor that view...) The background was scratched in ballpoint pen and then blurred up in photoshop.

I like the angle you decided to show this at. It makes the scene a lot more dynamic.

I do think, though, your colored pencil textures could be better. The grass, for instance, looks really scratchy and crayon-ish, rather than grasslike. It's best, for colored pencil work, to lay down a solid field of color, so there's no white paper sticking through, then adding in your details. This site might be able to help you; it's got a ton of different techniques you can try out.

Also, maybe practice rocks some more. Because the pillars, while colored like rocks, look more geometric than organic. It's tough, though, to draw rocks (for some incredible reason!), and I like that you put this in a setting--it makes the battle that much more interesting!
