Gaunt's Ghosts - Honour Guard (Sabbath Bloody Sabbath)
Gaunt's Ghosts - Honour Guard (Sabbath Bloody Sabbath) by @cerion (Maria Olsson)

The third picture in the Gaunt's Ghosts/Black Sabbath sequence. I haven't started the next even, at the moment of posting this.

This picture shows Gaunt in a complentative mood. For those who've read Honour Guard, you all know Gaunt has one of his darkest moments in this book. I tried to reflect that in this piece, and get some training on pencil shading. The left hand still looks off. Hideously off. Ah well. Live and learn.

Next pic will be from The Guns of Tanith.

Oooh, very nice. Lots of personality on the page here, which I'm always a sucker for. The folds in the jacket look a little plastic, but the face and candle are both well-done.

well, it's supposed to be patent leather, and also a bit of training for me on that special substabce. So, okay, might look a bit plastic... or heavy.
