'Gaz' Painting (from 'Invader Zim')
'Gaz' Painting (from 'Invader Zim') by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)

Painting is NOT my strong point, but I haven't done it in a while and figured I might as well use some of those paints I got for Christmas, so I figured I wanted to do something with lots of purples. Well, who came to mind but Gaz ^_^ I wanted to do a Jhonen-esque type painting for a while anyway, so inspired by the cover of the 'Squee!' compilation book, I came up with this painting of everyone's favorite little gamer. I got it done in about 4 hours or so, and while I still don't think I can paint very well, I love how it turned out ^-^ I even like the skulls, cause they look more like little muffin-ghost things, and I just find that funny for some twisted reason. It's pretty big too, 16 x 20 Anyway, I am SO going to do one of Dib now! ^-^

Wow, that turned out great! Love the shades of purple...it has a dark, GAZ feeling to it.

pokes other message this is compleatley random... but it almost feels odd to see someone else use the name Athena..... >_> (is my real name)

...wow... It only took 4 hours? Man, it takes me about 2 hours to even come up with a sketch I like, and if I want to color it, that's about 2-3 more... This is great, and I bet Jhonen would be smiley if you sent him a copy. Can't wait to see Dib all painted up good-like!
