Lenne character picture
Lenne character picture by @show_rosasea (Show Rosacea)

I decided to keep this picture black and white, and to try a new type of shading. I like the way it came out. I think I'm going to end up shading more pictures like this in the future. Takes a while though Anywho, she's my original character. Her name is Lenne, and she wasn't made up for anything imparticular at all. Just for sheer fun. So, comments welcome, and enjoy^_^

She's adorable! I love her Loligoth (Elegant Gothic Lolita) fashion statement, and her pouty expression really seems to suit her well. The shading is really a nice technique, it's almost like a light sketch, but without the colors. It's unique and I will definetly enjoy seeing it in more of your pictures.

I do think it is a little dark on her legs before the boots and her hands. Even if they are in shadow, pale skin is really light enough that it wouldn't be that dark. Don't forget about reflected light from whatever surface she might be standing on, as well!

Anyways, great image! ;)

I do like the shading in this picture alot too. I wanted to try something new and I'm glad you like it. I know her hands and legs are a little dark, but by the time I noticed it, I didn't want to risk ruining the picture by erasing the shading and such, you know? But I'll keep your suggestion in mind when I draw my next picture. ^^ Thanks for you lovely comment, take care now^^ ~Show
