Elephant Bum
Elephant Bum by @miaor (Miaor Da Tiggie)

Entered this loverly elephant bum into a contest. Dunno the end results yet. I tried going for a little realism but got extremely bored in the process. I don't have the patience for it.. especially for an animal with so many wrinkles.

Good thing I didn't choose to do a frontal view. I would have had so much trouble with the wrinkles on the forehead.

I actually referenced this picture. It was a bull elephant before he was artistically castrated to keep the rating down -.-

You know, elephants--from any view (though ones without the head are surprisingly charming)--are a LOT of fun to draw, I've found. There's something about them that just oozes character, which means it's easier to catch when one renders them.

I like the slight bits of blue on his skin, and also the way you did the leg wrinkles. :) Very nice.
