Skin Tone practice
Skin Tone practice by @morna (Jessica Evans)

More practice with skin tones, I feel like maybe I'm starting to get the hang of it a bit better :) Still not perfect but I do feel like I am making progress, even its a little at a time.

Watch your smear toold; it's pretty visible in the hair and cheeks. The eye areas are nicely done, however. (Have I pointed you to Katherine Dinger's tutorials yet? Look 'em up online; you'll see she uses a lot of hard brushes in her work, and it looks less computer-y).

Very nice rich tones in the hair, too.

If you can find it at your library or bookstore, browse through Gairy Faigin's ARTIST'S GUIDE TO FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. You seem comfortable enough playing around with human faces that you could get a lot of milesage out of working with facial expressions.
