A commission for my good friend Armonkyi that took an extremely long time with. Way too long than should be acceptable, and I am very sorry about it, especially for the fact that after all that waiting the only thing he gets in return is this.
I dunno why I even try anymore sometimes. And I had such high expectations for this :/

I understand all about not meeting one's own expectations for an image, especially in regards to commissioned work. For what it's worth, I think this picture is nicely done, the background in particular is lovely. A little variation in the tree branches wouldn't be remiss, but the mountain is excellently portrayed and I love the texture of the log they're sitting on. The characters themselves are also nicely painted, of course, and I like the snowflakes on them.
