That's Celestin, by the way (see other pics somewhere in the gallery). All dressed up for no particular reason, I just felt like drawing a different outfit. There's a random bird too. At what was supposed to be window, but then I didn't know what draw outside of the window, so I just filled in space with...blue...ness. Yargh.

I tried to leave a comment on this yesterday. It didn't happen cause my computer is an evil, evil thing. So here is your comment now... I really like your pencil technique. It's really cool--definetly adds a feeling of 3D and texture to it. The colors in this definetly drew my eye--the purple in particular is absolutely lovely, and it contrasts very nicely with the firebird. I really like the pose and bored expression, although the pic is a little too small to see much detail. The blue design in particular is really awesome. Hmm, as for the window? Because of the elaborate frame and lack of anything really outside it, it could be mistaken for a mirror. You should try tree branches next time--that always makes a window look like a window. But overall, this is definetly a really great pic--I like it a lot.
