Unworthy
Unworthy by @Shadowwolf (Shaddie)

Oh look, childs! This is, what? Only the second real picture since Christmas? WOWZ how lovely. Ummm, I started this about a month ago, yeah…got lazy, but I had to finish it you know. I worked really hard on this, but it's taken so long and I've changed it's meaning so many times, that I just don't care anymore. Don't worry people, I dunn feel unworthy at all right now. The message behind this picture has changed from Fear, Trapped, Happiness, Playfulness, Mischievousness, Fear, Loneliness, back to Fear again and now Unworthiness xD I swear...ermyeah. Those sparkly things are like ah, butterflies of sorts. And yes, I'm in a tree, because climbing things is fun. Rated T because some people that exist are squeamish about the female body.

God, I love your artwork. The fur is so.. fluffable! How do you do it? Love the hair, too.

Love the hair. Love the fur. Love the pose. Love the picture!

The butterfly things are cool, but I find them vaugely unsettling ... if I saw 'em in real life, I'd probably run a mile. :P Buuuuut that's jus' me. ^-^

The little butterflies I figured are just faerie spirits... whether they be trying to console her or they are the "bad-faerie" types that are pushing her to be so miserable >_<; I like how their light is reflected against the tree... though she doesn't seem to be touched by their light at all. There might be something symbolic about that... or, maybe I'm just punch-drunk and need sleep ;)

fantastic, wonderfull you did a real good job here but you knew that already, as for the picture it is worthy in my eyes.

I really like the way you've done the 'butterflies,' in all their mystery and wonder... and stuff. Those rings of light that are around the butterflies are a cool way to show how they are shedding a lot of light. I've noted that your stars are purple... well, some of them. I would've guessed that the char was sitting on rock- like, sandstone or something, if it weren't for a second glance because of the tree comment.

There's such a soulful expression on her face and you've done a good job with the tears, although I'm not so sure that they'd be that thin. The background serves its purpse - to show where the event is taking place, but the tree coulda done with a bit more sharpness, as compared to the hand that's infront of it. Your lighting and shading is good, except for the hair, the shine on it I think should be more localized, unless there's another lightsouce that's outside of the frame. Your anatomy's fine, I'm not so sure about the curve in the tail, it just doesn't look quite right somehow, otherwise, I can't say I can see anything else wrong with it- the hands, pose and relative sizes are accurate and I like the feet!

I wouldn't consider this as anything that couldn't be viewed by an 11 year old, but I guess the world is just more conservative than you and I, eh?
