They Say there are Gaurdians
They Say there are Gaurdians by @Shadowwolf (Shaddie)

Guardians? But no, they weren’t real… Or… Were they? Shadowwolf began to second-guess herself as the feeling of someone watching her crept over her like an unsettling fog. A muffled snap of a nearby dead twig sent her into nervous tension, and then full-out panic as she noticed a pair of piercing yellow eyes gazing at her through the falling snow.

Shadowwolf is pretty much hours near to death at this point, after foolishly seeking isolation in the wrong place at the wrong time. THE MOUNTAINS. dun dun dunnnnn... So she finds a boulder to lay under and pretty much gives up, but just before she lets herself freeze to death she is visited by something. 'Gaurdians' are a part of a wolven legend in this silly book I'm writing, they live in the mountains, and hunt souls in the winter. ...SSOOoUUUuUULllSSS! So as expected, Shadowwolf is a little creeped out. Whether it's an actual ghost or a normal wolf is up to the interpreter, I suppose. I never specify.

I made this just today because I FELT like it, I just wrote the scene yesterday night so I guess it was kind of still in my head and needed to come out =. Of course, in my mind it looks a thousand times more real and...perfect.

Ahem, yes. This is pretty - I didn't see Shaddie at first, but thar she is. pokes Shaddie-under-the-rock Mwahaha. I love the snow effects, and the glowing eyes on the Guardian. Does it save her? O.O sits on edge of seat

Lovely work. It just looks so, so cold. The aethereal look to the 'guardian' works well.
