Ah, yes... a finished image, inked with a Micron pen on Strathmore 60 lb sketch paper, scanned, colored in Photoshop. This is my second Photoshop coloring attempt, and the first I consider successful.

For the LiveJournal Dragon Exchange; the character Viran Firesoul is owned by Shoiryu.

For inspiration, I thought of a cat just getting up from a nap, arching its back and spreading its toes. On second glance, I realized that this dragon could probably also be roaring at the top of his lungs, but hey... interpret how you wish. ;)

A BIG thank-you to all the hints and helps given to my last Photoshop-colored image. I think this is an improvement on that attempt, though I still could use practice. It helped that this dragon was a relatively simple color. :)
