Naraka
Naraka by @chaosmage (Yaminah Tashanazi)

Well, this was a drawing I did ages ago and had scanned a couple months ago, but couldn't find the disc for quite some time. XD;

So anywhooo . . . this is a character of mine, who's actually name is Ken'ichi Danno, but because he's so creepy and well . . . bloody violent. The priest of the group he's in lovingly nicknamed his "Naraka", which if you don't know, translates into "Hell".

In his day, Ken'ichi was a hitokiri, or assassin. The bizarre thing is, he's blind. He's capable of seeing people's auras and uses that to attack. He was quite fast and feared by most, but the cause of his death is unknown.

Now, he's the guardian ghost of ironically, a very shy and kind shaman, who travels with a group (one of the members is Thursday Yoshi, a picture of him is in my gallery somewhere).

This pic took me quite some time . . . I really like how it turned out though. The hands were the worst. I actually stood in front of a full length mirror and held my katana like that to see how it would look. Almost cut my hand though. XD;;

I love how the hair went. ^^ Dang, you're brave, to have done that with your hand. XD; It kinda looks like the arms are too short, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm a bad judge of that, since I'm almost always drawing arms at the wrong length.

The blood dripping from his mouth and from his hand was a nice touch.
