The sketch flubbed in scanning...I might rescan it and start over with the coloring for this.

Anyhow...this is Mategai...and Mategai. More appropriately, it is 'normal' Mategai on the left and 'human' Mategai on the right. Just a comparison.

Usually when I computer color I take the 'cel' approach, with the ink lineart on top and the color underneath. This time though, I tried to color it my 'old' way, which is to have the color layer on TOP of the sketch/lineart layer and have the color layer set to 'Multiply.' This was the result, and I'm still in the air about it. I might finish it when I get my tablet for the Yule season.

wow what I wouldn't give for a gfx tablet :) I like your pic though it definately could use some shading and highlights I think it is coming along GREAT. Nevwr seen the show but the character's cute :)
