Page of Wands
Page of Wands by @lynne (Lynne)

It's mind-boggling how much the camera/computer butchers a painting. At any rate, here is the facsimile of a painting that I've been working on (or not) for months and I just finished it today.

It began as an experiment in landscape painting, and soon took on the life of an image in my mind of Vifernin who reminds me often of a 'Page of Wands' kind of influence in my life. It's the same humble and yet unyielding place in which he puts himself for the good of the human society he loves (in my novel).

As I painted the last details of this I looked upon it and burst into tears, I felt such an overwhelming feeling of love and longing for him. He has been so much to me.

Nice! It's so good to see someone still using traditional media, instead of just Photoshop, Photoshop, and more Photoshop. I love that dragon! Great job!

I am agreed with you about Photoshop, Photoshop, Photoshop :) I used to be part of that crowd, but I quit on it... traditional media is so much more hands-on.

GORGEOUS!! I love the red color of the dragon, and I like how the fire looks. You are really good at doing the reflections of the surroundings too. <33 I need to learn that still.
