Kitsune in Cypress Forest
Kitsune in Cypress Forest by @Dalamar (Blue Deyeu)

Well...this is a kitsune, a Japanese fox demon, wearing a kimon decorated with climbing roses. Kitsune can change their forms between foxes and humans, so the ears and the tail represent this, I suppose, and the mask represents the dual nature of them. The little path leads to a small shrine to Inari, the Japanese fox god. The tree it is set in is supposed to be a camphor tree.

I like the anime Yuu Yuu Hakusho, and somewhat borrowed the hair from my bishie, Youko Kurama. ^^ Please don't hurt me. The kistune is NOT Kurama, because Kurama is not a girl. So there.

I really like the roses on the kimono and the background. :) Japanese fox women are really neat. Just so you know, kimono always cross left over right because the other way around is only used for the dead.

Good to know; thank you for that bit of information. ^^ I'll keep that in mind for future kimono art.

Wow! I love the detail of the pattern on the dress. It's perfect.
