Bob and Wilfred by @linnpott (Linnen Potter)

Last semester in my school (we go on a block scheduling in my high school) I had animation. It was fun...when I wasn’t ripping my hair out in frustration (even now that I think about it that was kina fun too…). In any case, these are the characters from the final project (a 30 second animated film. Not as bad as it sounds as it was 4 fps...sooo it only amounted to about 130 cels). Bob (the guy), Wilfred (the bee in the front), and the wasps (in the back).

The story was about Bob and his magical walk through the park. During his walk he swats at Wilfred and makes him go away. This makes the eviiiillll wasps go after Bob's BLOOD (well, not his blood...but you know...). Bob runs for about 2/3 the animation and then takes out bug spray (from where, I dunno). He sprays the bugs and they explode (we made the wasps heads explode form their bodies, it was amusing) and die. Bob does a victory jig and then gets stung by Wilfred.

Yes, I know…an Oscar contender...

It was a mini-doodle, and I scanned it because I just wanted to upload something (yep, I'm weriiiddd). There’s a reason why the bees are drawn badly, they weren’t MY job. My job was drawing Bob and yelling at my group to hurry up and paint the cels or else (I was the head animator. I lost a lot of sleep while I took the pictures home to draw...@_@ so much sanity lost...).

Anyways, that’s the picture. Wow that was a long typey-thingy.

And on another semi-related note: Wilfred is actually REALLY tiny, a mere dot compared to Bob (no, really, he IS a dot compared to Bob). I just drew him up-close in this...

Oh another note, I still haven’t seen the finished animation. I wonder if I EVER will. @_@

I should shut up now and write my English essay....
