OMG!! Beautiful work!! Bucky gave me the link to this image, 'cause I was ranting to her about how she has so many fanarts dedicated to her work than me. And I don't regret clicking it!!
Wonderfully shaded--Piccolo especially! His clothing, the necklace that Goten made, and the tears... Gah! Beautiful stuff. Compliments to you on the work, and Compliments to Bucky on giving me the link to your work.
Oh man. I'm still utterly dumbfounded. You pulled so much emotion out of me with this that I am literally breathless. Utterly, completely breathless. Words can't even describe it, but I'll try.
The way you have him, with one hand clenched and the other digging into the ground. His agony is palpable. You couldn't have drawn it better. blush Not to mention that that is probably the absolute sexiest picture I've EVER seen of Piccolo! I just wanna print it up and hang it over my computer!!! You made him VERY anatomically masculine, his muscles and the coloring and shading... Just WOW. drool shudder And you gave him the white pants and vest AND the earring, without making him look any less male. drools again
There is SOOOO much emotion. Soo much. And the fact that you put Chi Chi (who is adorable, btw - love her hair and her outfit), and Gohan and cutest little Goten in the background - all happy, and grayed out (NICE touch, btw) - it truly showed what he was losing. It was like, 'how could he not love them?'
And using the color gray made it a fading thing...as though he'd already lost them. Brilliant. And he's so colorful in the forefront. Just wow, Sara.
I love the use of butterflies, too. They're such a cheery insect. It just adds to the contrast. You're a artistic genius, my friend. I'm still just stunned.
I LOVE THIS SHOT. It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Again, I wonder how it is that I'm so lucky that an artist as skilled as yourself is drawing pictures from my stories. HUGS
