Female Mage
Female Mage by @tigermouse (April Parks)

A character that is just a small part of a large painting. She's a human mage and she's looking back towards a battle. I want her coat.

I, too, want her coat.

The way the lower arm goes into the wrist bugs me, nor do does the hand and its finger "read" in a logical way.

The other main complaint I have about this is: it's such a casual pose, she could be waiting at a bus stop. Think of what it'd be like to be there and see all that carnage. Would you feel despair, defeat? Her body doesn't reflect any emotions like this--infact, it hardly expresses any emotion at all. We need her pose to convey an emotion, so we can feel WITH her, and emphathize, and become a part of the painting with her.

That make sense?

(again, I'd be happy to redline, if you wanted...)
