Drawn as a concept sketch for a 2001 Tokyo pop Rising stars of manga submission that I did. The comic once turned down by the Tokyo pop peeps has been distroyed and I will rework the script and art. Sadly in my upset fury I did not think to keep the art, in hindsight the comic was well drawn, and I did put a lot of effort into it.
In fore-sight, I can always do better next time.
Great symetry and layout! The eyes are very nice and soft. For a more realistic effect coloring-wise, I would try and put in some very faint shades of complementary colors in the shadows (e.g. blue in the skin)
