Red Sunset
Red Sunset by @kidkourage (KidK Mirai)

Okay, okay, if you know me then you know that I'm currently obsessing over the GameCube version of the originally-released-for-Dreamcast game 'Skies of Arcadia: Legends.' o.@ It is so bloody cool that I cannot begin to go into its coolness here. And, as with pretty much everything I get myself into these days, I've started mentally recasting it with my headvoices and friends just in case I ever write a parody fanfiction. =B; Which is problematic, because there are at least three places that Zim could believably fill, depending on the version of Zim one is dealing with. 9.9; But yes. If I ever did write such a thing, that's what it'd be called--'Skies of Irkadia.' I'm funny.

BUT--one character in the game who has an absolutely perfect match is ALSO one of my most favorite characters in the whole game...Gilder! =D delighted 'eee' noises He's an air pirate out to find excitement, danger, and...persons of the female persuasion to spend quality time with. Hee. Add to that the fact that he packs a wicked gun and wears red, and actually said the line commemorated above...well...you see what my brain came up with as a result. And so, here for the enjoyment of everybody who loves my Red headvoice...is this piccy. u.u Red in Gilder's outfit. Oh, oh, and the airship in the background is indeed the Claudia, though...it's not entirely accurate since I couldn't find a good pic until after I'd drawn it and I had to add stuff in using Photoshop and I have trouble drawing with a mouse and 9.6;;. But still it looks pretty nice, considering. For anyone who hasn't played the game--yes it takes place in a world consisting mostly of open sky, so yes there are random landmasses floating in the air and yes the boats do fly. ^.^ PLAY IT!

...I am über proud of how this turned out. Mucking around for hours with Photoshop figuring out what the 'wet edges' feature is and how to use different airbrush pressures to one's advantage is quite a learning experience and I think all the time and work show. ^-^;

'Women are like sunsets. Beautiful--but there will be another one tomorrow. That's my motto. u.u' ~Gilder

Awsome pic. The coloring is good, and I love Red's costume. You're good at costumes.
