Fallow by @Shadowwolf (Shaddie)

Wooh! I drew this actually before I went to Wyoming xD Never finished it until now. Hmm. I love the anatomy the best, though the neck is too long and the back legs are fluked. >_< And the wings are horrid, I know, sorry to cut them out too. I would have drawn the full things but I think the picture would be a tad large, and I was just tooooo lazy. And ALSO =o The fur is all weirrrdddd. Eeee. But I really like this picture, really. I just think I could have done a bit better. The hardest part to draw in this picture waaasss...the wings and back legs >.< FALLOW IS MINE. =)

Hi! I saw Fallow on the recent art page, and I just had to see him up close. Your coloring job is GORGEOUS. ^__^ Keep up the good work!

Aw, it's not bad at all, Shaddie! Horses are SO very difficult to draw, and I admire anyone that can draw them well! Yes, the back legs are a bit too long, as well as the neck, but those are no biggies. You did the fetlocks and hooves quite well: I always have trouble with those for some reason. Squeals I just love yer horsies! Keep it up! :D

(waves from wyoming! xD)

Again, I like the light fur-texture put into this - I've never seen it elsewhere before. I love his hoof-fluffs (I forgot the technical name, doh)!

Yeah, horse legs are tricky (they look doggish here, but I do that a lot too). A tip for them: their knees are pretty high, and usually don't come off their "stomach" area. In other words, they're not as separated from the body as a dog's knee is. They almost look glued to their pelvic area (horses are weird), as a matter of fact.

I learned this from a collective 7 hours at a horse show, trying to draw them while they were running, trotting, etc. But that's me. :) In other news, I like the definition of the muscles under his skin.
