::curious, goes to see if the older version's about before commenting:: Ahhh... The colors in both versions are lovely, but I do like the character in this one much better. His face is more expressive and his clothes have gained all that lovely detail. Though his hands seem a little pudgy to me. At any rate, I love his wings and all the textures in the background... and the color scheme. Simply gorgeous.

What a FACE! He's so expressive, here. You added a lot of detail...instead of making him shadowed and enigmatic, you let him stare at the light so we could read perfectly the look on his face. His coloring is stunning. His hair - you do the hair SO well - and that vibrant green hue of his eyes...you always seem to pick the right colors. I find myself asking what THIS guy's tale is... I swear, we'd be quite a team, ya know that? If I didn't have two part time jobs, two small children, and a house to upkeep, then I'd be all over being your author for all this artwork. It calls out to me, man. I'm sold on your characters without you even needing to spell them out for me! I already know them, just by the way you draw!

IT's me again. :) Like usual, your backgrounds are so rad, and they do so well at adorning the characters, that I forgot to mention how friggin' awesome those sheer, veined leaves are behind him. Such delicate details...things that add so much, but do it incognito!
