Random inspiration from one of the passages of the Sunday lectionary this week. Viva, Turchino, and Mozart. Turchino can change his colors (he is usually blue) though he doesn't often.

If you can, add varying levels of blur to the snow to make it look more realistic. Also, varying levels of blur will make some snow look like it's in the foreground and some further back.
