Head dragon
Head dragon by @nightwalker (Matt Partin)

This is an image I pulled from a very old sketch pad. I drew this when I was on a camping trip. You may be able tell that the image is pretty out dated, but its still one of my more popular ones

I can see why the image is so popular. The shading looks perfect. Also, the dragon creates some nice contrast with it's lack of shading. The detail is wonderful in the dragon though, all of those little teeth. It must have taken forever.

Thank you :) actually the teeth didnt take as long as you might think. When I made that I pretty much knew how everything was going to look. So do you watch a lot of anime?

Actually I do not watch any anime, but I read manga instead.

ah manga is good. have you ever read "ai love you"?? if you need any tips on your anatomy one thing iv noticed is it seems in most of your drawings the head is sticking out a little further than it should. if you are doing this on purpose thats fine :) but thats just something i notice.

I have never read that manga...maybe I should. As for the head, I still need a lot of work with anatomy, so I'll continue to work on that. I think the perspective is the problem, since I so not really put the shoulders in perspective but I am not really sure. Anyways, thanks!
