My dad found an old picture of my brother carrying me over in Death Valley when I was ten. I thought the pose was really neat and I decided to use it for an anime drawing. Then I remembered that my mom was complaining because I hadn't done any realistic drawings for a while. What to do, what to do...?

I ended up with a compromise. Use the pose, only have it be anime characters drawing realisticaly. And so, I present you with a realistic picture of Thero and X from my original manga, SpaceHunter_X (Thero's the guy, X is the chick).

Hmm... now I have to work some sanddunes into the comic...

I love the shading on this image, and although I am not familiar with the anime you have mentioned, I still love the character design. I'm drawn into the picture with the emotion on their faces, but I am disapointed you have no background. I'm not the type to draw backgrounds either, so I shouldn't be complaining. All and all, good job and keep up the good work. -I know how mothers can be all naggy like, my mom wants me drawing realistic as well. =P-
