Poseidon Awakens by @orahnn (Christopher Christian)

"Their sins and scorn had finally awakened him from the Dreaming. Too long had they forgotten to pay him the respect he was due. They had grown spoiled and decadent. As Poseidon turned back to the darkness of his cavern, his eyes were aflame with anger. Soon his children will leave the darkness and move toward the surface... and then the cursed souls above would pay. Yes. Then Atlantis would pay."

This was a piece I created for the Enchanted Vision Bi-annual EA Art Show, which had an Atlantean theme. The image was very strong in my mind, and I was very pleased with how well I managed to get the presense I was after in the final work.
