The coloring is not all that bad :) The dress esp. is shaded very well. I know what it's like for a scanner to eat up all the subtle shading, so I spend more time trying to please the scanner rather than the piece itself :) No worries :D

the sading isn't bad at all ^^;; i decided to comment on this cuz i like 1, the design on the dress 2, the reacurring design on her face, and 3 her wand ^^ very nice, i would like to see more of your work later
