A Moment of Silence
A Moment of Silence by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)

After living in what I always thought was an invincible country my whole life, this is TRULY the last thing I EVER would have expected to happen. There is nothing I can do for those estimated 30,000 people who have lost their lives, but to those who are living and have lost friends and family members, to those who are working round the clock to rescue others, and to those who are rushing to secure the country once again, I give you this drawing. It may not be much, but I hope that we can all offer some sort of comfort to those who have lost so much in such a short amount of time by offering our support. We will stand together to vanquish terrorism, and we will always remember those who were victemized by it and keep them close to our hearts. May you all rest in peace.

Taryn - It's more than most of us can express right now. Thank you for the image and the words. God bless.

.< Dern it, Taryn, makin me cry at 12 o' clock at night! sigh Did you write that, too? Talk about skill! I still can't believe that happened though...It seems like everything I see that revolves around the attack - poem-wise, pictures or statements - makes my throat tight and eyes well up with tears...
