Homage to Pansies!
Homage to Pansies! by @47ness (Alejandro Lee)

I once detailed the growing popularity of 'heartless bitch' type characters ~ well-hel, this would be the exact opposite: beefy, burly dudes with a heart of pudding. ^_~ It all began with FFVII, watching good ol' Barret and his amazing habit of showing his softer side while being rough n' tough. Since then I've been accusing characters in other series of "having a major Barret Complex". Some of the best examples here: Jet Black from CB, Sgt. Terry Sanders from 08th MS Team, and yes- even Boss of Hamutaro fame.

I sympathize for them; whether it's tormented by some painful past, unrequited love, or- worst of all- being ignored because of all the bishie characters in the same series as them. XD Just ain't riiight.

Oh my goodness. The little Chibi-Barrett at the bottom makes me WEEP with Glee. Love. Great work!
