The Dancing Princess
The Dancing Princess by @invader_bast (Jordan Gregory)

You ever seen the moive the Brothers Grimm? o.o They wrote Henstel and Gretel. And The Singing Bone. Aaaaand my favorite... the Dancing Princess. Once upon a time...

There was a woodsman who visited a gypsy in the forest nearly every day. One day, though, the gypsy said that he would fall in love with the princess. The woodsmen laughed, and asked how he was supposed to get her. She gave him a Cloak oh Inivisiblity. She told him that this might help him.

The next day, the Woodsman went to the king to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage. The king was skeptical so he said if he could find out why the princess's battlet shoes kept getting worn out, he would let them marry.

The woodsman was to wait outside her room to find out where she's been going and what she's been doing everynight. The princess and her servant came out of the bedroom, to say goodnight, and give him some tea. The woodsman knew better and quickly poured the drink into a flower pot while the princess and her servant were talking and then pretened to drink it, and the fall to the ground "asleep." The princess grinned at her servant and ran down the hall way. The woodsman quicked put the Cloak of Invisiblilty on and followed her. The princess took a sercret passage way(behind the king's throne) and ran off into the woods. The woodsman followed her.

They came across a...wagon group.. thingie.. of gypsies. The princess threw off her cloak to reveal a red dress(see picture :D) and joined them in the festive dancing. The woodsman took off the cloak, put on a mask, and followed her in. The woodsman and the princess danced until dawn.

The next day, the king called the woodsman to the throne room. He held up a pair of worn out ballet shoes, and said the woodsman had failed. The woodsman quickly explained out the secret passageway. The king only laughed and called the princess into the room. The princess denied everything of course, but then, the woodsman ran behing the throne of the king and opened the doorway. The woodsman told the king that the princess ran away every night to dance.

The king decided that this made sense, and the woodsman was to marry the princess. The princess said no. She said she'd already given her heart to a man that was with the gypsies. The woodsman grinned, and quickly put on the mask. The princess smiled.

The next time they danced together, was on their wedding day.

The end! 8D
