Awww. Chestnut backed chickadees are my favorite animals, and there's a wild one (dubbed scamp) that taps on my window in the morning, waking me up. So of course I had to make an attempt at drawing him. More of this type will probably come =)

Drawn with pencil, coloured with prismacolour pencils. No reference photos.

I dont know anything about this bird to give you any helpful crits. I think the picture looks nice, the color pencils seem to blend well together. nice job.. lol.. if you really like this bird and you haven't already, go to your local library and check out some bird books.
