Cu Carca by @Shadowwolf (Shaddie)

Weeeell, diss in Cu Carca of Furcadia. ‘Twas a realistic commish for Murce of DA. Cu is a regular wolf pretty much, she has a mane and gray forepaws annnd…a single protruding fang. That’s where she gets her name, ‘kuu karka’ in Quenyan (a form of Elven), which literally means crescent fang. If you even look closely, you’ll notice her name translated into ‘Tengwar’ inscription (which is just Elven writing) hiding in the glow of the solar eclipse, because I am a dork and just love that J.R.R! As you can tell, I’d no idea what to do with the background. ‘What should I do?’ I asked myself. ‘What should I do?’ I asked Josh. No suggestions appeased to me…so I left it as is. Threw an eclipse for reason unbeknownst to me. I suppose I was going for the ‘crescent’ idea, but a plain ol’ crescents moon didn’t seem interesting enough. So, of course, it is now a radical a solar eclipse. Radical. I still think lunar eclipses are the bawmb. Blood-red moons are always interesting to spot. I was born on the night of a lunar eclipse you know. In good old nasty Mississippi – NEVER live there, people =| My brother was all ‘THERE AREN’T ANY STARS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!’ And I’m like...er…what do you expect they do during the day, float away? Anyway, I think that’s all I have to say. Besides the fact that yes, I did use photo reference (as I always do in these realistic attempts) but I did not copy -anything- other than the pose. So it’s all mine… Mine mine mine mine mine! UNDERSTAND? Kay ^^ Okay…yeh. The end. I know it’s not perfect, but I’m proud of it and I’m still learning so blah =x
