Mordred is a piece that I created especially for the upcoming Enchanted Artists' Bi-annual Artshow. This show's theme will be Arthurian Legends!
I brought the Raven symbol in heavily in this piece to reflect Mordred's ties to the Morrigan and Death. From the talon-clawed sabatons protecting his feet to the cloud of ravens engulfing the moon behind him, this dark portrait caputres the magic and evil of this epic character magnificently!
Excellent detail in this piece. I love the design of the armour and glaive and the pose and expression in general are very expressive. Very nice work with the knotwork border, and I love how the sky disperses into a cloud of ravens. Nicely done.
