Biography

Note: I'm not that good, and I'm not drawing all that much now. Unless you want a long wait and your request mangled beyond belief into my style of drawing, don't ask me for trades and/or commissions. (Just a warning -- I dont' mean to discourage!)

That happy statement said, on with the biography...

I am a junior Cell & Molecular Biology major at a random college somewhere. I love to read, so much so that I rarely get any work done on drawings. I mainly draw stuff when I'm supposed to be working on other things - like in the middle of a class.

I draw mainly for fun and relaxation. If I'm having a rough time with work and studying, I tend to skip drawing in favor of easy, passive things like books or VH1 shows.

I've never taken a drawing art class, so I'm pretty much self-taught (i.e. not that good). I develop mainly by getting older. I go through large artistic style jumps sometimes, when my drawings change styles very quickly. I tend to be influenced by the art I view (on the Internet or otherwise).

I am a fan of anime, with my favorites varying from year to year. I tend to jump headfirst into fandom, suck it dry of fanart and fanfiction, then lose interest when things to read and look at dry up. I'm trying to teach myself Japanese right now, as I haven't been able to fit a Japanese course into my schedule so far. The self-teaching thing isn't going all that fast, heh.

Sadly, I have to depend on the internet for most anime/manga news - I'm a student, therefore I am perpetually broke. Argh.

Have I said I like books? :D
