14" by 10" acrylic painting. FUN WITH COLOURS!!!

(I really, really hated this when I was doing it, so I didn't upload it straight away. Actually, it was done before the magpie robin bookmark.)

Next time I do acrylics, I'm going to experiment with watercolour paper...canvasboard is too rough to get any kind of fine detail, and you can't do glazes because watery paints just drip off. Sigh.

Acrylics are quite horrible...they dry too slowly when I want to paint a new layer, and too fast when I want to blend!

Ah well, better than oils - at least there's always the hair-dryer with acrylics! ;)
