This is based on the Yu Yu Hakusho fanfiction I wrote (or am writing at the moment) known as "Time and Again", where a nostalgic Kurama tells Botan of an unforgettable story of his past set in the olden 1500's of Japan as the fearsome youko, the evil fox demon of Makai with great rank and power. It was a tale of lost loves and tragic deaths, of betrayal and trust.
