Blending Reality by @wolverine (Rhiannon o' Forest)
Firstly, THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL MAGAZINE COVER. It is a pretend one I created for my Multimedia class.
I used photos I'd taken (of a clothesline at night; an abstract one of my fingers against a bright light and a dark tube) which make up the majority of the image, a scanned in cover from a book of horses legs in light and dark ("Darkness, Be My Friend" by John Marsden, original cover) and two small images of a moon and a barcode taken from public domain websites that I didn't remember to copy down. Note: we had to include a scanned image, it was part of the assignment. I realise that that part of the image is not my original property.
I put everything together in PhotoShop, added the text (fake heading and fake article names) and created the front cover of a pretend magazine: Blending Reality.
I'm really proud of this. It's the first real creation I've made in PS, and the first time using my own photos in anything. It turned out nothing like I expected, but really really good and interesting and unexpected anyway. I'm very happy with it.
