i did this as a study for a larger painting, one that i'll get photos of later. it actually was a shelf that we installed above where we were sleeping in our old RV back around '14 or '15. had an idea in my head of a water vortex opening up into space, where you could clearly see supernova happening. the full piece has 3 vortexes with 3 different supernovas. marker on marker paper.
