Naughty Goat!
Naughty Goat! by @Swift (Shelley L.)

Happy New Year of the Goat to all! Considering this is my first goat ever, or at least in a very long time, I think he turned out rather well. This was so fun, I think I'll do one for all the animals in the zodiac that are not coming up soon :D

By the way, the Chinese characters on the wall hanging read 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' in Mandarin(or Gung Hei Fat Choy in dialect) which means 'well wishes and may you prosper' when loosely translated, a popular greeting during Chinese New Year. The big word in the background is the Chinese character for 'goat', and also for 'sheep', which is why this year is also called the Year of the Sheep. I chose the goat though 'cuz I grew up with 'Year of the Goat' :) Artwork © Copyright 2003 Shelley L.
