Here's #1 in the series, still have quite a bit of work to do on it. I gotta redraw those darn wings, first of all.

Yeah yeah yeah that shading isn't quite right but I'm gonna redo that...and I'm aware that the white spots are strange. Blue jays really do have that white spot on the undersides of their wings, however...it probably wouldn't show up when folded. Ahh well. I'll just have to take a look at my bird, Brat, next time I trim her nails. (Yes I have a "pet" blue jay...don't ask.)

Jaye is one of Teven and Sherrie's two boys, he's the wirey one...Not to mention the loudmouth. ;) Takes after the bird he's named after. His brother, Ravyn, and mother, Sherrie, shall be coming up shortly, along with the five billion other characters from this story. Oy.
