Cabin Fever's Final Assaults Against My Sanity
Cabin Fever's Final Assaults Against My Sanity by @ianchas (Ian Chase)

Just when you thing spring has finally come, just as the streets start to clear of dirt and salt and the white patches shrink into wet marshes of grass. You get a foot of snow dumped on you one night and everything is back to winter. I'm not sure if this piece, or any of the other pieces of beach themed art, came out of a latent desire for summer to be here or for spring break to arrive, but I made it anyways.

A sunbather or just an uninhibitted girl at the beach. Her cd/mp3 player's headphones look a little funky, like pointy ears or something. I like her joyful expression and the design on her swimsuit, not to mention her legs (That's it, it must be cabin fever). The black spots on her swimsuit are actually the centers of sunflowers, but the petals didn't scan very well at all. I did this piece, for most part, in classes which might explain the reason for her "psuedo-nude"/bodysuit looking breasts. Artwork © Copyright 2003 Ian Chase
