The Day the Music Died..
The Day the Music Died.. by @danimere (Danielle Merenda)

"And in the streets: the children screamed, The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed. But not a word was spoken; The church bells all were broken. And the three men I admire most: The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, They caught the last train for the coast The day the music died."

k.. This picture came about because I've been feeling sorta depressed lately, and all the bad things that I didn't want to think about in the world are slowly catching up to me.

For all you who don't know, I live in New Jersey. And I'm practically right across the river from New York. So when September 11 came around, I could see everything from my school's library windows. I watched the smoke billowing out of the towers. I watched the buildings collapse. I watched the look of horror on everyone's faces. I watched girls and boys alike crying and sobbing because they didn't know if their neighbors; their friends; or their family was okay.

I saw things that people my age don't need to see.

And the worse part is, I saw it myself. Not from some stupid TV news show. With my own two eyes.

This will be something that I will never forget. And for all of you who did lose someone. My deepest sympathy. And for all of you that celebrated while my nation cried; God will punish you. He will punish you dearly.

Much love for you all. Please keep going strong, America. Your spirit is the only thing some have left..

"Oh, and there we were all in one place, A generation lost in space.. With no time left to start again."
