What does a character need to be cool? A big sword? A slick outfit? Nope, what they really need is cool hair. This piece is actually pretty old, but it illustrates very nicely exactly how Pixel's hair is designed. I made Pixel as a mascot for the Anime Artist's Forum and I think I did a pretty good job of creating a flexible, symbolic, and visually interesting character for them.
