The assignment was Baroque art, which means contrasting lights and darks, most of the painting in dark. So I wanted to do a horse. I fought my teacher about this one, I eventually won. This is the second serious oil I have ever done. It took a lot of work, and a lot of frustration. Again, there's a glare.
