Coffee Sign (Pyrography)
Coffee Sign (Pyrography) by @Valcanine

My woodburning for the coffee bar (Could I be considered a pyro now?). A part of my interest in woodworking.

Caffeine molecule on the mug as a fun lil' detail, and to show my nerdy love for chemistry.

The cat jumped up onto the bar and claimed the coffee all for herself.

Ooooo WOODBURNING ART!  WOW I never thought I would see something like this posted here.  This is a Excellent job you did here I can almost make out the tell tale smell of burned wood as you made this, I used to have a wood burning kit EONS ago but it ended up becoming sold in a garage sale by my mother when I was a wee one.  I love how the word Coffee jumps off the page at you...speaking o wich I think I may grab a cup o morning juice right now!

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Wow, thank you so much!! I own an old Dremel woodburner, but I was only able to use it on a few pieces of scrap wood lying around in the garage when I obtained it. I now have access to a wood shop, so I've started burning again and purchased a wire-tip woodburner (which is what I used for this piece). The smell is distinct and even nostalgic for me, as I first started woodburning in middle school. Can't go without that morning juice.

@Valcanine: Nothing like a cup of solid Jo to get the gears a grindin and the pistons pumpin, makes doing heavy labor or even just getting through the day a bit more easier.  Woodburning is an artform rarely appreciated in this day and age cause so many artforms exist and certain forms of art are just not as popular as they once were, it takes a deft hand and a lot of patience to make something decent come out and even more practice to perfect it as a true artisan of the style.
