This lilac tree used to stand in our yard. Unfortunately it was doing pretty poorly when we moved into this house, then we had a polar vortex in the winter of 2023 where temperatures dropped to -40F and winds got as high as 45 mph. When we went out to check on the yard, this lilac tree had fall over, completely broken off from its roots.
