A little gruesome. I kind of don't usually find myself drawing stuff like this anymore (though I did a lot as a teenager), but it came to me, and I had to get it out. Maybe I was in a bad mood, hah. Listened to Deftones while drawing this so it all came together in a certain way.

Here's Vex having a moment. Though this scene isn't "real", this is either an unpleasant dream or hallucination calling back to when he was experimented on by the military, when he was given his weird mutant powers. Those powers are useful but unfortunately serve as a permanent reminder of an awful trauma.

Doesn't look great but I kind of just slapped it together impulsively to get the idea out.
