Original characters. Thomas is a half-Chinese junior in high school who spends most of his time in the library. Leroy is just a friendly senior who likes spaghetti and meatballs. The only thing that connects them? Leroy is in Thomas's physics class, and he's going out with Chloe, a Chinese girl who happens to be the daughter of Thomas's dad's friend. The problem is that Thomas's dad and Chloe's parents want Thomas and Chloe together because Thomas's dad learned his lesson when his American wife left him, but Chloe thinks Thomas is a big losergeek and Thomas is... in love with Leroy, who's led a perfectly normal and happy life until now. And so the story begins.
