Equine Angel
Equine Angel by @Panthra (Rei Easthope)

It was horrid. We had walked across the field as he hadn't answered to our calls. We tried rattling the food bucket, but even that couldn't bring him over.

We found him lying on his side. Still, not moving. A second horse knelt at his side, trying to nudge him into activity with his nose. A third horse stood behind a fence and looked down at him.

No-one moved.

I can't remember what it was he died of, but it is truly a shame to lose such a beautiful creature.

Rest in Peace Boz
